Original Article Blocked??

Please go to this Lucianne article page and link to the original article at FrontPageMag.com.

All I get is a 404: , and I'm wondering what's going on.

I've tried several google searches and links, links from other blogs and even searches on Frontpagemag.com.

The link to the original article in lucianne's site is http://frontpagemag.com/2009/11/30/subduing-women's-sexuality-by-hege-storhaug/

It works for me. Who's your ISP?

Acch... I see it. It's the URL encoding. A bogus apostrophe. Try this one:

http://frontpagemag.com/2009/11/30/subduing-women%E2%80%99s-sexuality-by-hege-storhaug/

No still doesn't work. Firefox converts the apostrophe. I've also tried IE.

The ISP is "Clear" which is the Portland version of Clearwire.

I'm at work, so all I've got is the network's IE. I get the 404 within FP's site, but the Lucianne link works. I dunno.

The FireFox message I get is....

404;http://frontpagemag.com:80/2009/11/30/subduing-women’s-sexuality-by-hege-storhaug/

notice the :80 after the .com portion. Any ideas??

That's the port. 80 is the default for http, so it's just stating the obvious. I don't understand the "404;" though.

I just tried the frontpage url this morning--I'm getting a 404 message page too. By the way, are you getting Frontpage's 404 message page or are you getting a generic one from your ISP?

Source code indicates a generic 404, from www.w3.org

I just tried linking from the Authors list at frontpagemag.com and this url worked:

http://frontpagemag.com/2009/11/30/subduing-women%E2%80%99s-sexuality-by-hege-storhaug/

(Except in the address field I see the silly curly apostrophe "’" instead of "%E2%80%99".
