Never give up.

Yes, this is an actual product. For those people who feel something missing when they drop their traditional land-line phone service. It also comes in a cord free Bluetooth version. But unless you were one of those people who could cradle it between your ear and shoulder, I don't think it meets the new hands-free cell phone laws.

Oh I want one! It's been in my Amazon shopping cart for a couple of years now, I just haven't been able to bring myself to spend the money on it yet.
One of my favorite stories is when Kaia was here a couple of summers back (at about 11 or 12 I think) and asked: "Gramma, how do you make a call on that phone upstairs? How do you use that thing?"---It's an old wall phone with a DIAL! I keep that phone because it's the only one in the house that'll work with the power out.
