Instead of the flat dog park, we took to the local neighborhood park, Mt. Tabor. Roughly a 400 ft gain from our house. Toby had to be leashed, so not quite the same fun for him, but still plenty to smell.
Tabor has many side trails of gravel/dirt in addition to the main roads, so we managed to spend more than an hour going round and round and up and down the hills, getting in a few good steep trails and, of course, doing the North-East stairs (200 feet of elevation by stairs).
With a side trip to the bank, a full two hours. Our feet hurt, but I've always had tender feet (no callouses at all practically).
I've been out of town the last two weekends, so it was a joyful return to CWD on Easter morning with nice cool temperatures, but warming sunshine. We did an hour and forty-five minutes around the dog park, trying to keep a good pace and even jog for moments.
Then off to Nancy's for Easter dinner. Blew the diet, but Holidays should be an exception anyway. Here, some Easter Bunnies were caught hiding the eggs...
"We must reject the idea that every time a law's broken, society is guilty rather than the lawbreaker. It is time to restore the American precept that each individual is accountable for his actions." -Reagan
The problem with socialism is that you eventually run out of other peoples' money.
